Shoulder pads...hmm

Well, I know after the volunteer work posting, this may seem a little, well shallow, but I just can't decide if this look is something I absolutely want to emulate and can't live without, or if she looks a little, well over obsessed with looking fashion forward. I think it looks effortless and happy with herself which is what I'm all about so I think its a keeper:)

Shoes for a non-shoe obsessed kinda girl

ahhh. this shoe is beautiful. It's designed for hip-hop dancers. I used to want to be a hip-hop dancer, those were the days when i used to dream about being a hip-hop dancer. I wish i had these shoes for obvious reasons. They would probably make even walking, which is more my pace, look real good!

bigger forehead, better blogging

Well, since the demise of the computer spaceship I've owned proudly for almost half my life, I decided and school decided that I needed a new computer. Hence force, I have a beautiful, bouncing new mac in my life. I think I'm gonna like this. I have been kept away from the internet for far too long, and being able to carry her around with me is like so futuristic I can't even take it. I hoped to bring all my inspiration in life everyday to this blog. It might be a little easier with a machine that can purr like this baby. Hope to bring you lovely things soon!!

Oh Andy Goldsworthy

How I love your weird nature inspired art. Could I come and collect rocks with you? Or perhaps leaves? Anything will do:)

Two Days in Paris

I've never been to Paris. This movie makes me know I will go one day. This movie came out a while back and I saw it for the first time last winter. If this ending quote from Two Days in Paris doesn't make you want to see the rest of the movie, well, you might not have a mushy heart like mine is sometimes. Just so beautiful and true. She didn't write this initially, but when she got to the end the lead actress and writer Julie Delpy put it in. Just stuck with me I guess. To watch a clip of this scene, go here:
"It always fascinated me how people go from loving you madly to nothing
at all, nothing. It hurts so much. When I feel someone is going to leave me,
I have a tendency to break up first before I get to hear the whole thing. Here
it is. One more, one less. Another wasted love story. I really love this one.
When I think that its over, that I'll never see him again like this... well yes,
I'll bump into him, we'll meet our new boyfriend and girlfriend, act as if we
had never been together, then we'll slowly think of each other less and less
until we forget each other completely. Almost. Always the same for me. Break up,
break down. Drunk up, fool around. Meet one guy, then another, fuck around.
Forget the one and only. Then after a few months of total emptiness start
again to look for true love, desperately look everywhere and after
two years of loneliness meet a new love and swear it is the one, until
that one is gone as well. There's a moment in life where you can't recover
any more from another break-up. And even if this person bugs you sixty percent
of the time, well you still can’t live without him. And even if he wakes you up
every day by sneezing right in your face, well you love his sneezes more than anyone else’s kisses."

One Picture a Day

I love the idea of catching someone doing everyday things in a picture, everyday. Photographer Kevin Trageser took a picture of his girlfriend once a day for a year, and the results are sweet, as in aww:).

I HAVE DISCOVERED ETSY!!

Etsy is probably one of the most fantastic websites I have found in a long time. I heard about it reading a new online magazine, Parasol. I believe I will be buying everything I ever need from this place. It is all about artists around the world creating and selling their unique products to people who don't want mass produced stuff and want to support the art community. How wonderful is that?! This bag is from one of the really talented people on Etsy, ShibaNgDesigns's.

people in love make for the best pictures

Duston Todd is a fantastic wedding photographer. I don't know if i'll ever be engaged, but he kind of makes me want to be so I can have beautiful pictures like this taken.

Cardboard Furniture

My next project for school is cardboard furniture. Very "green". While this piece is beautiful and understated, as always I plan on making mine elaborate and over the top, because I just can't help myself. Wish me luck!

so...THIS is happening

Hi there!
I've been wanting to start my own blog for a while now, and finally have got the nerve to share all the things I find interesting. I hope you enjoy!

So first a little about me, I'm a 22 year old junior at UW-Oshkosh and hope to become a fantastic graphic designer one day. I have just recently realized my love and passion for all things beautiful, and wish to spread the love to everyone around me. Basically, I hope to be a bright spot in your day!

Fall in love daily will hopefully have a post a day that will be a reminder of all the things i've fallen in love with each day, an inspiration, and hopefully i'll get a grip on who I am as an artist. Hopefully everyone who takes a gander will make it as happy as it will make me:)

I will start off with a Sunday tradition of mine, Post Secret. If no one has heard of it, please stop by and read the weekly heart warming and funny postcards strangers have sent to a guy named Frank. He's lovely. The picture above is one of my favorite postcards posted on his website a few weeks ago.
