Pixelation!

I love the dorkiness and radness of the look of pixelation in the "real" world. Don't know why, just a strange obsession. I made this necklace for a 3-d class a year or so ago and wondered about what else I could do with it. This girl did it for halloween, but i would love that shirt for everyday....not so much with the face paint. How cool is that?!

Black tulle...mmm

Why can't there be more dresses around that look like this? So feminine and so sexy at the same time. I love the simple tulle fabric used in both. The top one is from Target and the other is from a runway show. I tried on the Target one and it fit well enough, but I just wish it would have been more fitted. But, one thing I can say is that I love the way Rodarte made Target make a dress that is so detailed and inexpensive.

o the places i want to go...

The ACE hotel is an awesomely quirky take on a second home vacation spot. It's located in NYC, Portland, Seattle, and Palm Springs. If you want to go somewhere original, this looks like the place. I would prefer the Portland location, but that's just me. They have a photo booth, and awesome murals. Even down to the website, this place has the coolest design. I love the originality, and the energy this place seems to have. Its not even that expensive. Perfect!

I'm finally making graphic art. Hopefully I find I have a knack for it. It's fun and frustrating at the same time!

Well, I know after the volunteer work posting, this may seem a little, well shallow, but I just can't decide if this look is something I absolutely want to emulate and can't live without, or if she looks a little, well over obsessed with looking fashion forward. I think it looks effortless and happy with herself which is what I'm all about so I think its a keeper:)

Summer is over...boo...and yay!!

so this summer was very something! i can can't think of one certain word that would describe it all. I am now in Milwaukee and absolutely liking it very very much. there are some things i have to adjust to and wish i didn't, but thats just change:) practicing change makes me ready for anything, i think. this picture was taken in door county on a camping trip. it is the one i am most proud of.
